Maree is committed to health and gender equity and serves on the Boards of St Vincent's Institute of Medical Research Foundation and Her Place Women's Museum Australia.
Maree is a Mum of 3 and Nanree to 3 grandchildren. She has shared the life defining-challenges of endometriosis and adenomyosis through her daughter, who developed symptoms at the age of eight. The challenges when symptomatic affect all facets of her life.
Brianna is committed to helping other 'endowarriors' and became a nurse, working through Covid-19 in Monash Health's emergency department. Brianna understands the challenges with fertility and pregnancy risk, and is now a fertility nurse. She and husband Daniel, a paramedic, welcomed son Oliver, in August 2022.
Maree's niece Alicia was diagnosed with endometriosis in 2023, and after undergoing treatment, welcomed daughter Margot with husband Nick, in May 2024.

Jane Fletcher
Health Psychologist MAPS

Jane is a health psychologist with over 30 years’ experience working with individuals with chronic diseases and cancer.
Jane had a double lung transport aged 25 in 1993, after developing Idiopathic bronchiolitis obliterans. She was the 7th person to have the procedure in Victoria, Australia, and among the longest surviving recipients of a donor transplant.
Having established Melbourne Psycho-oncology Service in Melbourne in 2008, Jane practices at Cabrini Health's Malvern and Brighton Hospitals, and at Melbourne Integrative Oncology Group in Bentleigh.
Jane continues to offer evidence based intervention to individuals, couples and families from medical team pathways, symptom management, integrative health, and psycho-sexual issues associated with endometriosis, adenomyosis, PCOS and pelvic pain.
She has extensive experience using cognitive-behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, a range of existential approaches and mindfulness based interventions.
She is qualified in medical hypnosis and uses this for the treatment of cancer related sleep disorder, phobic and conditioned responses. She has a special interest in sexuality and is experienced in a range of specific interventions.
In addition to Endometriosis, Jane's special interests include breast, gynaecological, prostate, bowel, lung and haematological cancers. Jane is passionate about offering care to those diagnosed with less common cancers. She also works with those who have tested gene positive for cancer who may require prophylactic surgical intervention. Jane speaks widely, both locally and internationally, to peers and those living with a cancer diagnosis and hold adjunct appointments with Monash University and the Szalmuk Family Psycho-oncology Unit.
